We’re delighted to welcome Capital Brewing Co. as a sponsor of Essence 2026, supplying a substantial band rider for this year’s festival.

It’s a particularly good fit. Capital have spent the last decade doing something we care deeply about at Essence: building places where Canberra’s communities can get together.

Their Dairy Road Taproom is a great example. It’s not just somewhere to drink beer — it’s a huge social space with a beer garden, courtyard and games, Brodburger on hand, live music and, if you’re curious about what’s behind the taps, brewery tours. It’s the sort of place where you can arrive for a beer and somehow find yourself staying a while…

And then there’s Lager House, Capital’s new neighbourhood pub at East Traders Hall in Campbell: seasonal lagers, local wines and cocktails, an open kitchen, and a huge Brazilian wood-fired grill cooking up proper pub food.
